As part of our commitment to enhancing environmental protection and workplace safety, our company has implemented an Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001. Senior management has defined the company's Environmental Policy, set objectives for the upcoming period, and developed programs to ensure continuous improvement and the maintenance of the established management system.
Our objectives focus on minimizing environmental impact, including reducing utility water consumption, chemical usage, and waste generation to prevent groundwater, soil, and rock contamination. We strive to raise environmental awareness among employees, align environmental thinking, promote preventive principles, engage in public communication, and influence our business partners positively. Additionally, we reaffirm our commitment to addressing climate change issues.
Climate change considerations are integrated into our management system's efficiency assessments and risk evaluations. Due to the scale of our electroplating tanks and the scope of our activities, our company falls under the Act on Integrated Prevention and Pollution Control (No. 39/2013 Z.z.). We operate under permits issued by the Slovak Environmental Inspection Authority, Department of Integrated Prevention and Pollution Control, Bratislava.
